Consumer dispute resolution
We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board within the meaning of § 36 of the German Consumer Dispute Resolution Act (VSBG).
The European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform ceased operation on 20 July 2025, so no link to it is given. Statutory rights before the ordinary courts are unaffected.
Liability for our own content
As a service provider we are responsible for our own content on these pages under § 7 (1) DDG and general law. Under §§ 8 to 10 DDG, however, we are not obliged to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information, or to investigate circumstances that indicate unlawful activity.
Obligations to remove or block the use of information under general law remain unaffected. Liability in that respect begins only from the point at which we become aware of a specific infringement. If we become aware of any such infringement, we will remove the content immediately.
Liability for links
This site links to external websites — the documentation, the source and release pages on GitHub, and the websites of the open-source projects sitereal is built on. We have no influence over their content, and no liability for it: responsibility always rests with the provider of the linked site.
The linked pages were checked for possible legal infringements at the time of linking, and no unlawful content was apparent. Permanent monitoring of linked pages without concrete evidence of an infringement is not reasonable to expect. If we become aware of an infringement, we will remove the link immediately.
Copyright
The content and works on these pages — the texts, the illustrations, the logo and the wordmark — are subject to German copyright law. Reproduction, adaptation, distribution and any kind of exploitation beyond the limits of copyright require our written consent. Downloads and copies of this site are permitted for private, non-commercial use.
The sitereal application is proprietary software, sold under a license and not open source. It can be tried for seven days without payment; the terms on which you may use it either way are set out in the software license, and the open-source components it is built on are credited under third-party licenses.
Where content on these pages was not created by us, the rights of third parties are respected and third-party content is marked as such. If you notice an infringement nonetheless, please tell us and we will remove the content immediately.

Anything at all — a legal notice, a privacy request, a bug, a question about the license — goes to the same address and is read by one of the two partners.
