LegalRefunds
Fourteen days, without asking why.
What we refund, what your statutory right of withdrawal covers, and why canceling a trial is not a refund at all.
Who you are buying from
sitereal is sold through Paddle. Paddle.com Market Ltd is the merchant of record for every purchase: it is the seller on your invoice, it collects and remits the tax, and it is the party a refund is paid by. We build and support the software; Paddle handles the money.
That is why a refund is requested through Paddle rather than through us — although writing to us works too, and we pass it on.
Your statutory right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have fourteen days to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason.
Digital content is the one exception worth knowing about: the right of withdrawal lapses once delivery has begun, if you asked for it to begin immediately and acknowledged that you would lose the right (§ 356 (5) BGB). Paddle's checkout asks for exactly that consent before it charges you.
This statutory right is not affected by anything below. Our own policy is more generous, not less.
What we refund
Fourteen days, without asking why. If sitereal is not what you expected, write to us or to Paddle within fourteen days of the purchase and you get your money back — whether or not the statutory right still applies.
After fourteen days we look at the reason. A license that never worked is our problem and we will say so; a change of mind six months later is not, and we will say that too.
Refunds go back to the payment method that was charged, and take as long as your bank takes.
The trial is not a refund case
The trial runs for seven days and takes a card so that it can become a license by itself. Cancel before day seven and nothing is ever charged — there is nothing to refund, because no money moved.
Canceling during the trial is one click in the receipt email from Paddle, or a message to us. The application stops opening when the trial ends; everything it has already written to your disk stays where it is and remains yours.
Renewals
A yearly license renews once a year. Paddle sends a reminder before it does.
If a renewal catches you out, write to us within fourteen days of the charge and we refund it. Canceling stops the next renewal and never takes away what you have already paid for: the license runs until the end of the year you paid for, and everything the application wrote stays yours.
Cancel at any time from the link in any Paddle receipt, or by writing to us.
How to ask
Write to support@sitereal.app with the email address you bought with. That is enough — you do not need an order number, although it makes it faster.
You can also use the link in your Paddle receipt to reach Paddle's own support directly.
We answer within a few working days. If we ever do not, that is a reason to chase us, not a policy.
