LegalTerms of use
The terms this website is offered on.
What you may do with this site, what we promise about it, and what we do not. The application you download has its own license — this page is about the website.
Scope
These terms govern the use of the website at sitereal.app and its subdomains, operated by Aufwind Rosebrock & Runnebaum GbR, Harburger Str. 23, 27356 Rotenburg (Wümme), Germany. Using the site means accepting them in the version in force at the time.
Downloading and using the sitereal application is governed separately by the software license. Where the two say different things about the application, the license wins.
Using the site
The site is a public information site. You may read it, link to it, quote it with attribution and download what it offers, for private or for commercial purposes. No account and no registration is required, and no contract for the use of the site comes into being by visiting it.
What you may not do:
- interfere with the site’s operation or security, or attempt to gain access to systems or data that are not made public;
- retrieve pages automatically at a rate or volume that burdens the service, or scrape it for a competing product;
- remove, obscure or falsify author, copyright or trademark notices;
- use the site, its name or its marks in a way that suggests a partnership, endorsement or origin that does not exist.
Availability
The site is offered free of charge, as and when it is available. We give no guarantee of uptime, and may change, restrict or discontinue any part of it — including individual pages, downloads or documentation — at any time and without notice. Maintenance, faults at our host and events outside our control can interrupt it.
Accuracy of the content
We write these pages carefully and keep them current, but we do not warrant that they are complete, accurate or up to date. Documentation describes software that changes; a page may describe a version other than the one you have.
The roadmap in particular is a statement of intention, not a promise. Nothing on it is a commitment, a delivery date or an assured characteristic of the software, and plans on it may change or be dropped. What has actually shipped is on the changelog.
Links and third-party content
Links leaving this site lead to content we neither control nor adopt as our own. Responsibility for it lies with whoever provides it. See the legal notice for the detail.
Intellectual property
The texts, illustrations, layout, source of these pages, the name sitereal, the wordmark and the logo belong to us or to our licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. Quoting with attribution and ordinary linking are fine; systematic reproduction, republication of substantial parts, or use of the marks for your own products or services needs our written consent.
Open-source components used on this site and in the application keep their own licenses, which are reproduced under third-party licenses.
Liability
We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the German Product Liability Act, and to the extent that we have given a guarantee.
For slight negligence we are liable only where a duty has been breached whose fulfillment makes the proper performance of the agreement possible in the first place and on whose observance you may regularly rely (a cardinal duty). In that case liability is limited to the damage that was foreseeable and typical for this kind of agreement. Any further liability is excluded.
This site is provided free of charge; § 521 of the German Civil Code applies accordingly to the extent that it grants a milder standard of liability. Nothing here limits liability where the law does not permit it to be limited.
Governing law and jurisdiction
German law applies, to the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer with your habitual residence in the EU, this choice does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country.
If you are a merchant, a legal person under public law or a special fund under public law, the courts at our registered seat have exclusive jurisdiction for all disputes arising from the use of this site.
Changes and severability
We may amend these terms, for instance when the site gains a function that needs a rule. The version published here is the one that applies; the date at the top says when it last changed.
If any provision of these terms is or becomes invalid, the remainder stays in force.
