siterealAgents & MCP

Build it with an agent. Keep the file it wrote.

sitereal ships an MCP server over the same API the canvas uses, so Claude Code or any MCP client can build pages while you watch the canvas update — and what lands on disk is plain Astro.

05House rules

The rules ship with the tools.

An agent reads the guide before it writes, so what it builds looks like something you would have built.

  1. 1

Never write what you have not just read

A page carries a revision; a write against a stale one is refused instead of silently reverting your edit.

  2. 2

    The design system answers first

Colors, spacing and type come from the tokens, so the page follows the site when you retune it.

  3. 3

    Reuse first

A block on two pages is a component; anything around the page is a template.

  4. 4

    BEM names

The same shape the builder’s own generator writes, so the tree reads like yours.

  5. 5

    One rule per element

States, breakpoints and pseudo-elements nest inside it — the rule the Style panel opens.

The builder’s operations, as tools.

Read and write pairs over the endpoints the canvas uses — never file guessing, because a write has to re-emit whatever depends on it.

What it writes, you own. There is no agent-only format and no region you are locked out of — open the same page in the canvas, the CSS panel or your editor and change anything.
